Fresh Palak-5 bunches
Salt-apt(as per taste)
- Clean and cut fresh bunches of spinach and let it dry for 5minutes in room temperature!!
- Cut onions and fry in spoon of ghee.. Caramelize onions!!
- Fry cashews in same pan and keep separately!!
- Take a kadai, add ghee, pepper corns, cloves, cinnamon ,ilachi ,and spinach .
- Let them all cook in ghee with lid for 5minutes on low flame***
- Wash and soak 2 glasses of basmati rice in 4 glasses of water.
- Now make a smooth paste of ghee fried spinach and masalas along with ginger and garlic.
- In same pan add remaining ghee and smooth paste of spinach masala.
- when it starts leaving ghee a side, add soaked rice, salt.
- Mix well and bring to boil.
- Close the lid and cook on slow flame for 20minutes.
- Add a spoon of warm milk and mix gently…Sprinkle caramelized onions and fried cashews on top!!Serve hot with potato fry/paneer fry!!!

- 2.Extra Ghee is always Add on!!
- 3.Don’t over cook the spinach..
- 4.caramelized onions, ginger ,garlic are optional**
- 5.Prefer Basmati rice only to enjoy pulav.
- 6.Avoid if you are suffering from Renal(kidney) disturbances..
- 7.instead of milk at last you can use water to soften the rice👍👍
